Hey there. I have recently come across an article that gave some pretty nice instructions on how to get to some cool stuff that Google has been working on getting into Chrome. I will show all of you how to do that today. All you have to do (you don't have to have any of the special beta or developer versions) is just type in this address: chrome://md-settings. Once there, you will find the new Settings design. Don't freak out! This won't hurt your computer in any way. There will be screenshots so that you will have proof from me that it works. Also, some of the settings don't work at the moment, but with every release, there comes new changes, so there might be new features in that Settings page soon enough. If you want to customize your Chrome experience even more with a Material Design look that's coming soon to Chrome, then go to chrome://flags, hit CTRL+F and search in that box the word "material", scroll down through the list of things that use Material Design, and check those boxes, then restart your browser. Then, you will have that wonderful Material look that everybody loves! Now, it's time for the screenshots! When at the Flags page, hit CTRL+F to get the Find bar working, then type in the word "material". There should be 8 things to click so make sure you do that. In that 1st one, with the "Material design in the browser's top chrome", there are 4 options, "Default", which is the standard look for Chrome, "Non-Material", which is the old Chrome look, "Material", which is the best one and what this whole blog post is about, and then there's "Material Hybrid", that's a blend of the new, cool Material look, and the standard look. This design is the worst one because it just looks ugly. (Sorry if I offended you, Google!) That's all there is to it! Thanks for reading this and I will see you in the next post!

Hey there.
I updated the design again. The logo I made wasn't working the way I wanted it to. It looked too small, so I made another one that really works this time. Enjoy! Thanks! -Kyle. P.S: I'm cooking up some sweet stuff to post on the blog, so stay tuned! :D |
