I have been searching for apps that let me get other cool apps for free, and I came across this one called Asterix. I installed it, and found out that there are a TON of free apps and hacked games as well as what is known as the "++ apps". These hacked apps can give you certain features you wouldn't get with the regular apps such as Spotify Premium for free, more features in the YouTube++, Snapchat++, Instagram++, and Twitter++ apps, and some neat and nifty tricks in Pokemon GO++. They also have emulators so you can play your favorite NES, SNES,, DS, and Game Boy games all from your device, and not on a website or the cloud. There's also screen recorders that let you record your screen so you can possibly make some cool YouTube videos or something. They also have jailbreak tools if you're into that and are able to jailbreak. You can also watch movies and TV shows for free with apps such as: Bobby Movie, Aero TV, Popcorn Time, and MovieBox++ (my favorite out of all of them). All of these apps mentioned in this article are up and working. If they aren't, wait until they are available (every app is updated frequently so you don't have to worry about it). They have great and super fast customer support who will always ensure user satisfaction. I haven't needed the support yet, which is a good sign that everything is running smoothly. All in all, this app is really, really good. It has a lot of games and apps for free, you don't need to spend any money to get them, and you get new stuff all the time. There's a gallery at the bottom of this post with screenshots of some of the available apps (sadly, as you can probably tell by that very last screenshot down below, Tweetbot++ is not available at this time, but it should be up very soon). Thanks for reading this post, and I'll see you all when the next one is up. -Kyle. About the Author.CEO and Founder of TrendingTech. I make YouTube videos and blog posts. iOS 10.3 is the latest big software update by Apple. It brings new features, more security, and all-around great battery life. It’s also super buttery smooth!
Features: iOS 10.3 has new features, such as a way to find missing AirPods, those new wireless earbuds that Apple kept delaying until last December, WiFi calling on Verizon iPhones, which saves data, and it is almost time to say goodbye to very old apps because in the next update, Apple is no longer supporting 32-bit apps, which means that super old apps that haven’t been updated in a long time won’t work anymore, which is very sad. R.I.P. Speed: iOS 10.3 is very fast now because Apple put some new animations whenever apps close and open. It’s more of a card effect that’s present across all apps. Apple also has the new Apple File System (also known as APFS) and it gives a BIG boost to older devices that somehow can still run iOS 10. The old file system was almost 20 years old! It was called HFS+. iOS 10.3 is incredibly fast, especially on the iPhone SE, which has the same processor as the iPhone 6S. Security: iOS 10.3 also has stepped up security because of the APFS. It means that hackers can’t get in because it’s all encrypted and that makes everything all gibberish when they try to rip people off and get their information. Bad things: There are some bugs that weren’t fixed with the new update, though, and that sucks. There is a glitch with bold text, YouTube, iMessage, and other things, but that in no way makes it a bad decision to update to iOS 10.3. It has some bugs, but it will be fixed with iOS 11, no doubt. Conclusion: iOS 10.3 is a great update if you have an iPhone 5S or later, because the 5 and 5C is out the door. The new update is great if you want a faster device, new features, and having the latest update. As always, iOS updates, including this one, are free! They will be free, forever, just as it always has been. This is a good time to be an Apple user, and an even better time to be alive, because 2017 will bring bigger and better things for one of the best companies on Earth. The iPhone SE unboxing experience... The iPhone SE was a weird-at-the-time, but cool revival for Apple. They took a lot of the parts from the 6S and stuffed it into the body of the 5S. I managed to snag one for Christmas of 2016. Here's what I think about it.
DESIGN: The iPhone SE has the best design of any iPhone to date. It's small size and aluminum backing make it a sight to behold, and I really praise and thank Apple for keeping that design in the SE. SOFTWARE: The SE comes preloaded with iOS 10, the latest iteration of iOS. The latest version of iOS 10 is 10.2.1. iOS 10.3 beta 1 came out earlier this week, but I won't be getting it because I don't want to screw up my brand new device. CAMERA: The iPhone SE has the same rear-facing, 4K VIDEO SHOOTING camera as the iPhone 6S. The front-facing camera is still the same measly 1.2 megapixel camera from the 5S. As I mentioned just a bit earlier, YOU CAN SHOOT AND EDIT 4K ON THIS THING! It's pretty neat. PERFORMANCE: The SE has the same A9 chip as the iPhone 6S, giving it the most power in a 4 inch phone ever. It also has better battery life than the 6S because it has a lot less pixels to push, which means, better battery life and optimization. SIRI: You can use Siri hands-free by saying, "Hey Siri". This is a pretty cool feature that works almost all the time. APPLE PAY: The iPhone SE now comes with Apple Pay, so you can make payments on the go, without having to pull out whatever you use to store money. When you want to pay, you just whip out your phone, double tap the home button, put it up to the card reader, wait a few seconds, and BAM! You just paid from your phone... The iPhone SE comes in 2 storage variants (16 GB and 64 GB) and 4 colors (Space Gray, Silver, Gold, and a new addition, Rose Gold). $399USD for the 16GB model and $449USD for the 64 GB model. That's all I have to say about that. Thank you for taking the time to read this review, and I hope you all enjoyed it! Goodbye! -Kyle. (Cease all motor functions) I got Destiny: The Collection for Xbox One a few weeks ago. It's a 60 GB download if you don't have the free trial installed, or 14 GB if you have the Legendary Edition of Destiny that is $20. WHAT YOU GET: You get the full Destiny game, both expansion packs, including The Dark Below and House of Wolves DLC packs, the Taken King DLC, which released last September, and the Rise of Iron DLC, which released on September 23rd of this year. INSTALLATION: The installation was fairly quick. If you already installed the trial for Destiny on Xbox One or PS4, the full Collection edition is only 30 MB to get you running. If you don't have anything installed, it's a full 70 GB or more. If you download the full thing, your internet connection will need to be amazingly fast for it to install quickly. GAMEPLAY: I first played the 2 expansion packs, which were really good, but ended way too soon. Next, I started The Taken King DLC, which I have not finished (update coming when I finish Rise Of Iron). So far, it's really, really good. You can pick up glowing, colored balls that give you weapons and armor. After level 40, your Light level is your new leveling system. Some of the bad things about this game is the fact that the rare items are hard to get and the DLC packs are sometimes expensive, like the Rise of Iron DLC, which is $30 right now unless you find it somewhere else where it's cheaper. Also, there's almost no one to play with in the Crucible multiplayer part of Destiny, which really kills the experience. Rise of Iron is a very fun storyline that starts off and ends strong. I would recommend getting the Collection if you get Destiny at all. BOTTOM LINE: I would give this game a 8.5/10. It looks really good graphics-wise, it runs super smoothly, and it's really fun to play, but some parts are really lacking and sometimes buggy and not a fun time. Thanks for reading this review! -Kyle. About the Author.CEO, and Founder of TrendingTech. I love getting my hands on new technology, listening to good music and blogging, of course! Hey there. Recently, a new operating system was released that's based on Android and it's available for PC, Mac and Linux, so it plays nicely with all operating systems. It's called Remix OS. It runs really fast, as it's made for low-end PCs which don't have a lot of processing power. It's a special version of Android 5.1.1 (Android 6.0 Marshmallow coming soon, according to Jide, the developers of Remix OS). Jide Technology, the makers of Remix OS, haven't gotten through the Google certification needed to get the Google Play Store officially running on Remix OS, but they have tips on how to install it anyways (because that's just how they roll). When you install the Google Play Store, you get access to all of the Android apps that every fresh Android device gets. Installing Remix OS is actually not that hard. All you have to do is go to Jide's website, click the link to go to "Remix OS For PC" and then you have to option to install it on a 32-bit system, or 64-bit system. To check that, go to your Control Panel --> System & Maintenance. Then, you can see what system you have. Now, go back to that browser tab and download the .zip file. For 64-bit systems, it's 816 MB. For 32-bit systems, it's 653 MB. You can either download it right then and there through whatever browser you have, or you can download a torrent file and download it there (BitTorrent is the best torrent client, so go download it, if you want. Also, Tor is the best browser for that. It's super-encrypted for those paranoid people. Their icon is an onion, just so you know). Once that's downloaded, extract it to a folder, and then open the USB tool included with the folder, then choose if you want to install it to a certain USB flash drive of your choice, or if you want to install it on your hard drive. It's super easy and quick. Then, you have to go into your BIOS. For Windows 10 users, it's really easy. Go into Settings, then go to Update & Security, and go to Recovery, and then click Advanced Startup. This will reboot your computer. Then, when it has booted into that, click the button that says anything to do with BIOS or UEFI, this will boot into your BIOS where you can turn off Safe Boot. Look for it, usually residing in the Security tab. then reboot and your computer should prompt you to select either Windows 10 or Remix OS. This trick also works for Windows 7 or 8 users, but you have to hit a button that's usually F8 or F10, but look it up beforehand, just in case, then you will be booted into the BIOS, and then turn off Safe Boot. Select Remix OS and then it will boot up and probably install a few things and check all of your hard drives, so be prepared to wait and maybe watch a movie (assuming you don't primarily watch TV on your computer), grab some dinner, or reward your hard work with some sleep. it will boot into Remix OS. You will have to agree to some Terms & Conditions first, then select your Wi-Fi network (or Ethernet, in my case), and then you're all set. You have Remix OS! :D But NOT SO FAST, PAL! You still have to install that beautiful Google Play Store to get the full Remix OS experience! To do that, there is a video on YouTube with a download link that lets you download a .apk file. This is an Android Package file that lets you install the Google apps. Run the app, hit "INSTALL GOOGLE PLAY SERVICES", and then wait a bit, and then restart your computer, boot back into Remix OS, and you should have the Google Play Store! Voila! Now, SCREENSHOTS! Keep in mind that Remix OS is still in beta, but that doesn't mean that only special hacker people can use it. It's more than stable and easy enough for everyone to install. You might run into some problems, though you can easily report them using the Feedback app.
Remix OS is a really cool, customized version of Android for the computer mainstream, and it actually works and functions like any other device would. Overall, operating systems like this don't get enough attention, and it's special when a really good one (such as Remix OS) is able to gather enough support to really become a competitor to big companies such as Microsoft and Apple. As always, thank you for reading this review and I hope that you have a great day! -Kyle. :D |
