This blog is pretty much dead at this point. I'm probably not going to support it anymore.

iOS 10.3.2 has just stopped being signed by Apple, meaning you can't downgrade to that anymore, which means no jailbreak if you're not already on 10.3.2 when a jailbreak drops for the rest of us. iOS 10.3.3 came out a month ago, and iOS 11 is in the beta stage.
RIP iOS 10.3.2. You will be missed. :( Samsung had its Unpacked 2017 event today in New York, where they announced the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+. 2 new devices, and ones that come almost a year after Samsung announced the ill-fated Note7. You know, the one that explodes. Anyway, it comes in 5 colors (3 of them for the U.S, the 2 other ones are for other markets) and it packs a lot of good specs. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 (or Samsung's own Exynos chip), 4 GB of RAM, a 3,000 mAh battery for the S8 and a 3,500 mAh battery for the S8+. Lets hope they don't explode this time.
There's also some new accessories, like Samsung DeX, which, when you plug in your shiny new Galaxy S8 into it and hook up a monitor, keyboard and mouse, can turn your phone into a desktop PC. The Gear 360 can live-broadcast in 2K and take videos in true native 4K. The Galaxy S8 is 5.8 inches and the S8+ is 6.2 inches. That is a whole lot of screen space! The Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ will come out on April 21st. The S8 will cost $725 and the S8+ will cost $825. Of course there will be more news about these new, fresh devices, so keep your computer on this website for more technology news that you need to know! Thanks! -Kyle. The Nintendo Switch has been out for a few days now. It broke records in the U.S and is selling strongly in other countries. But, the Switch has a lot of problems, such as Bluetooth connectivity problems with the Joy-Con controllers that connect on the side, weird high-pitched and robotic sounds coming from the device, broken and glitched-out screens, dead pixels on the screen (which Nintendo claims is a *characteristic* of LCD screens), games not starting even when the NON-EDIBLE game cards are in the device. There's a whole video on this stuff, which is at the end of this post. This is a real problem for people who purchased the $300 USD device. $300 is a LOT of money for something that's broken! If you have a Nintendo Switch and are experiencing any problems, Nintendo's support page is right here (just copy and paste into your browser!): https://en-americas-support.nintendo.com/app/answers/landing/p/897/c/956 Anyways, thank you all for supporting this blog over the years. I greatly appreciate all of it. Thanks! -Kyle. (Here's the video!) |
